1.) 1,000,000 books are published worldwide, but Google Book Search can digitize 1,000 pages every hour!
2.) There are 240,000,000 tv’s in the US and 2,000,000 are just in bathrooms!
3.) 95% of music downloaded last year werent even paid for!
4.) The average teenager sends 2,272 texts a month, but i send over 3,000! But 217, 541 is a little much!
5.) Our president raised over 55 million dollars when he leveraged online social networks, IN 29 DAYS!
6.) In 2010 the cell phone will be the worlds main connection to the internet!
7.) The computer in my blackberry is a million times cheaper, a thousand times more powerful, and a hundred times smaller! Thats just crazy
8.) How will my phone fit in my blood cell?
9.) The internet insane!!!!1

1. Thats absolutely ridiculous! why would anyone need all of that? I am perfectly happy reading a book instead of using the computer and am now going to drastically cut my computer time. I think i prefer previous generations in which if you had a computer it was used only for typing papers and not used unless something had to be done. I really hate technology and would be perfectly happy living as they did 200 years ago.

2. I use my cell phone when it is necessary and have an email to connect with colleges and scholarship information. If I cant get the information I need from a book I will resort to a computer. And of course papers/reports.

3.1) Newspaper circulation is down 7 million over the last 25 years
2) Per month the average American teen sends 2,272 texts
3) 90% of the 200 billion emails sent every day are spam
4) 95% of songs downloaded last year weren’t paid for
5)Wikipedia was started in 2001, it now has over 13 million articles in more than 200 languages.

1.Wow….I didn’t know that the internet and cell phones had effected us that much.
2. i use my really slow dial-up connection at home. But i prefer to take my brother’s phone and use the internet on there. I text all the time on my phone too.

1. I was thinking about how much people use there cell phones than there computers I always thought that the computer would be used more to get onto the Internet.
2. I use Myspace and my cell phone.
3. * That one kid sent over 217,000 text messages in March of 09.
* That 95% of the songs downloaded last year was not paid for.
* Youtube, Myspace, and Facebook are bigger than ABC and NBC and they only have neen around for 6 years combined.
* 93% of adults own a cell phone.
* 240,000,000 TVs in the United States.

1. Everything i s changing, and changing WAY too fast. Its unnecessary to be on the internet all the time. I think most of Americans need to cut back, like getting on myspace through your cell phone everywhere you go. i mean come on.
2.I text, and i text a lot. I also use myspace and facebook. But i don’t just use digital media for entertainment, i also use it for research and homework.
3. a- 2,000,000 of the TVs in America are in bathrooms.. what the heck?
b- 47% of television viewers would rather pay money to get rid of commercials, than take a few minutes to watch them.
c- More videos were uploaded to youtube in two months than if ABC NBC and CBS had broadcasted 24/7/365 since 1948 when they first came on the air. (that’s ridiculous.)
d- 95% of songs downloaded last year were not paid for.
e- The average teenager sends 2272 texts each month.

1. I can’t believe how much technology has became a huge source in life, & I wonder what it will be like in 10-15 years.
2. I use the internet & I text, all on my phone.

-Jackson, swine flu & Barack Obama have been the most talked about subjects in emails.
-An average teen sends at least 2,272 text a month.

Its pretty neat showing how much technology has become a part of Americans life over the years it hasnt been very long and there has been so many advances.
I use digital media by myspace and texting.
1.3o million people read online newspapers
2.We have access to over 1,000,000,000,000
3.The average person has over two thousand texts per month
4.250 million people visit a social networking site a month some examples could be myspace or facebook.
5.95% of songs that had been downloaded were not paid for this year.
