So, I haven’t excelled at posting on my blog thus far in the 2008-09 school year!  My apologies to the four and half people who read my blog….just joking, there are at least seven!  (and yes, my mom does count!)  The library has been a happening place lately.  This week we have some sweet OGT’ers marking multiple choice questions and writing extended responses.  You have to love the extended responses with their four parts and all!!  Mrs. Elliott and I have been working up another book order so if you have any suggestions stop by and let us know!!!  I am currently reading The Last Lectureby the late Randy Pausch.  It is a very inspiring book and I recommend it to homosapiens everywhere!  I am also constantly reading various books on church history.  I have to keep the old brain sharp or at least not dull.  You know they say your brain feels like a sponge.  I don’t know who “they” are, but “they” say a lot of things.  Of course, I have never touched a brain so I guess I will take their word for it.  I just hope my does not feel like a dried out sponge, because I am thinking that is not so cool!  I want to be a useful sponge!  Enough of sponges!  Sponges are expelled for the rest of this conversation.

It is almost November, which begins my birthday month.  Getting older is weird.  You will know what I mean when you get there.  I don’t get freaked out about getting older because I know a lot of cool older guys who have a healthy supply of wisdom and sweet comebacks.  I want to be like those guys!  The ability to rattle off useless knowledge about things and tell stories that no one believes….that is what I have to look forward to!  No worries…every season of life has its pros!  I guess the best advice is to enjoy every step up the ladder!
