Well, we are back to school!  Hopefully we can all put our minds to work for the next three weeks before Christmas Break!  The stretch of time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is my favorite of the school year.  Although you have the occasional “Scrooge,” most people are excited about the holidays.  I enjoy the lights, the shopping (even if I don’t buy anything …is that still considered shopping?), family get togethers, and now that my kids are older I enjoy watching them!  My son helped me put up the Christmas tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving and he was so excited.  Now every morning he wakes up and tells us how beautiful it is….oh the simple things life bring such pleasure.  My Christmas list includes several books (of course I am a librarian), but mostly what I want is to hang out with my friends and family.
