I picked up a children’s book yesterday for my son Rowen.  The book, Jujo, is by Mark Ludy who resides in Colorado, but has made some author visits to the Portsmouth area.  I heard another librarian from East Portsmouth Elementary talk about Mark and I was so impressed I purchased one of his books!  His illustrations are awesome and he draws all of his rough drafts using a Bic pen - a little odd….. but he is a very talented fellow.  I highly recommend his work!!!!
