Your time-line or newspaper is due this Friday, March 12th.
If you choose to complete a time-line, you must have 6 events marked and artistically represented. You must also provide a 1-2 sentence recap of the significance of each event.
If you choose to complete a newspaper, you must include a catchy and correctly written title and include 4-6 paragraphs. Remember that you are reporting from Nome, Alaska in 1925!
You should be continuing to read in your novels. Novel Projects are due on March 19th.
Remember: I will be glad to look over your project and give you a chance to fix anything necessary. That time is up this Saturday, March 13th.
Reminder to my 8th grade class: Unit 7 Vocabulary Test is this Friday, March 12!
You should be continuing in your independent novels. The blue paper (you will get one on Monday) is also due on Friday!

Presentations begin on Tuesday, January 19th. All students have been assigned a presentation day. Please come prepared with your scrapbook OR your jump drive!
All Students have a plot line due on Jan. 19th as well!

8th Graders:
Your novel projects are due this FRIDAY…October 30th. 5 Extra Credit Points for anyone who turns it in sooner! I have extra models and explanation papers in the classroom!

In the past few days, my 8th Grade class has been reviewing the element of character. What better way to sharpen our skills than to create one ourselves! We discussed 21st Century Problems and traits that each super hero should own. The students are currently creating story-boards for their plot. We will be finishing this project in class!
All Seventh Graders have a Vocabulary Test on Thursday. The test covers the words on the 7.3 list.

My eighth graders received a new vocabulary list this week. (Unit 3) The assignments are as follows:
Synonym/Antonym Due Wednesday, 10-7-09
Choosing the Right Word Due Friday, 10-9-09
Completing the Sentences Due Tuesday, 10-13-09
TEST is on THURSDAY, 10-15-09
All seventh graders received a new reading log. This is due on Monday, October 12, 2009. Extra copies are available in the Absent Folder for this week!
