Happy Friday Morning!  I enjoyed my half-day off yesterday.  I attended my son’s Renaissance Assembly at Circleville High School.  I congratulate him on his academic achievement.  I also enjoyed having a leasurely breakfast and coffee with my wife.  That was a rare treat.  For those of you with children you will understand this.

I would like to say GOOD LUCK to the Logan Elm athletes performing today.

Shane Gifford won his first match at the State Wrestling Tournament last night 9-4. He will wrestle again this morning.  Good luck to him!

The boys’ basketball team will play against Sheridan tonight at The Convo in Athens at 6:15.  Good luck to them!

Good luck to the band for their weekend performance at Teays Valley!

Woods I students learned about the planer/surfacer yesterday and will be taking the quiz on it this morning.  We will be planing their boards and sanding them over the next two days and then onto the Band Saw.

Woods I students are doing a blade-changing activity on the Table Saw this week.  I have seen many quality cutting boards and pizza peels come across my desk in the past few days.  The students have worked hard to fine tune these and get them ready for a mineral oil finish.

Everyone have a great weekend!
