Welcome back to the woodshop! We have been very busy the past 9 days. I have been grading many hand tool projects. Most of them are done and out the door.
Woods I: Yesterday we discussed the Drill Press and today we took the Drill Press Quiz.
Woods II: This week we did the Tablesaw Blade Change Activity. This activity is due by the end of the day tomorrow.
Woods II & IV: We are continuing to work on our more extensive projects.
I have been working on making some Eastern Blue Bird Boxes for my church’s nature preserve. I will try to provide a photo. Maybe they will be the project of the week.
Mechanical Drawing: today we started the last of our 2-pt perspective drawings: Tool Guide. Next we will be moving into Development Views.
Project of the Week
These Eastern Blue Bird boxes were made by Mr. Hugus in Woods XIX. They were made from Western Red Cedar. I hope the birds enjoy them.
