Good Afternoon! I am finally back on after the holiday break. How was your break? I got to shovel snow in Mich.. ( that state up north). Well, back to the woodshop.
Woods I: I graded the first completed hand tool projects today. 6 of them out the door. They should all be finished up in the next two weeks. We are moving on to the jointer on our clock projects. We have run through about half of the students’ boards today. We will run everyone through by Saturday and get their boards glued and clamped. Next we will be learning about the planer.
Woods II: I have been grading more cutting boards. They should be finished very soon. The students’ independent projects are progressing well.
Woods III & IV: I have some pretty sizeable projects being worked on right now. I just sent home a nice Adirondack bench. Look below for a photo.
Mechanical Drawing: Today we finished up with Oblique Drawings. Tomorrow we move on to Auxiliary Drawings. The students in general are beginning to clean up their drawings and are making good progress.
COMMENTS NEEDED!!! Feel free to leave some comments on my blog or leave some compliments for the students on their projects.
