Woodshop Fundraiser - Wooden Bench Raffle
The LEHS Woodshop Classes are having a raffle to raise money to buy items for the Woodshop. Mr. Hugus and his Woods classes have made an Oak bench to raffle off to raise the funds. Raffle tickets will be sold until the last boys’ home basketball game when the winning ticket will be drawn. Tickets may be purchased at all boys’ home basketball games and other select sporting events. Raffle tickets are sold as 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.
The bench, as seen below, is made from solid Red Oak. The overall dimensions are 44″ long, 17″ tall and 11″ wide. The seat is hinged to open a compartment underneath. The front seat support has the words “Logan Elm Braves” routed into the wood and painted red. The wood is stained in Golden Oak and finished with three coats of gloss pulyurethane.
